West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire
Come and
ride with
us.
We're a friendly cycling club in West Bridgford, and we'd love for you to join us. Whether you're just starting out or you've been riding for years, there's a group here going at your pace.
Who we are
We're all about encouraging each other and helping the sport grow. Our members inspire and support one another, and cycling here isn't limited by ability, location, gender or background — we think it's for everyone.
-
All abilities, all welcome
Around 200 members from West Bridgford and across Nottingham — East Leake, Keyworth, Beeston and beyond. There's a group going at your pace, whatever that is.
-
Not just road
We mostly ride the road, but there's gravel and mountain biking too if that's more your thing.
-
More than the riding
Café stops, weekends away, a picnic ride, a seaside run and an end-of-year party. The social side matters as much as the miles.
-
A friendly bunch
Our rides are social gatherings, not guided tours. Every ride is organised by a member who rides it with you and keeps the group together.
Midweek rides
Our midweek groups are named after coffees and run in order of strength, Latte to Ristretto — each cup brewed a shade darker than the last. Pick the one that sounds like you, and move up or back whenever you like. Every group leaves from the Test Match Hotel, West Bridgford.

Every year, without fail
AGM and annual party
Every autumn we hold the AGM, open to all members, and follow it with a buffet, a bar and a bit of a party.
Easter Ride
A whole-club ride out with an Easter egg quiz along the way, built around local landmarks and a bit of history.
Picnic Ride
Every group posts its own route, all converging on the same country park where the club has laid on refreshments. Burrough Hill Fort and Beacon Hill are past favourites.
Seaside Ride
Woodhall Spa to Sutton on Sea for chips and a paddle — a firm summer favourite.
Club kit
A full Kalas range in summer and winter colourways. The shop window opens twice a year for a few weeks — you order direct from Kalas, the order lands with the club, and we hand it out.
We keep samples of the popular pieces so you can try a size before you commit, plus a small amount of stock you can buy any time. The current stock list lives on the members' Facebook page.
